John Wick 2014Chad Stahelski gives *John Wick* the clear, patient action staging its thin revenge plot scarcely deserves. Keanu Reeves makes the violence compelling; repetition is the price of an otherwise brisk evening.Fi1m 80 - 2
John Wick: Chapter 2 2017Chad Stahelski’s sequel stages its gunfights with more clarity and care than almost anything in the genre, and it knows it. The plot is a chain of errands and the killing blurs after ninety minutes, but the craft is real and the fun is honest.Fi1m 76 - 3
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum 2019Chad Stahelski’s third John Wick film is the best-staged action of the series and also the longest, and those two facts are related. Come for the knives, the horse and the dogs; the mythology and the Moroccan desert you will have to sit through.Fi1m 72 - 4
John Wick: Chapter 4 2023The fourth John Wick contains four or five action sequences as clear, inventive and painful as anything the genre has managed in years, and around them an hour of candlelit men explaining rules. Worth the evening, and worth an interval.Fi1m 74
