Biography
Bill Groom is an American production designer and art director. He began his career in New York in the late 1970s, working as an art director on Saturday Night Live before moving into feature films.
His film credits include production design on A League of Their Own (1992), Milk (2008), Eat Pray Love (2010) and art direction on Awakenings (1990). On television he has served as production designer on Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014), for which he won four Primetime Emmy Awards, and on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023). He trained in theatre design at Tulane University.
