Biography
Claire Parkinson is an American costume designer working in film and television. She began her career in the costume department after studying journalism at Emerson College in Boston and interning at publications including Harper’s Bazaar. Her mother was a stylist who collected vintage clothing, which influenced her approach to sourcing and design.
She is best known for her work on the Hulu series The Dropout (2022), for which she received two Primetime Emmy nominations, and the Netflix series The Politician (2019–2020). Other credits include V/H/S: Viral (2014), Spoiler Alert (2022), The L Word: Generation Q (2022–2023), Goodrich (2024) and the series Furious (2026). She frequently collaborates with her sister, assistant costume designer Lily Parkinson.
