Biography

Darran Tiernan is an Irish cinematographer. He has worked in the industry since 1995, initially shooting commercials before moving into feature films and television.

Tiernan is known for his work as director of photography on the series Westworld (2018), Perry Mason (2020–2023), The Penguin (2024) and Spider-Noir (2026). He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour) for an episode of Spider-Noir.
