Biography
David Womersley is a production designer and visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He began his career as an illustrator in London and New York during the 1980s before entering animation in the early 1990s as a background designer on An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (1991).
His credits as production designer include Chicken Little (2005) and Frozen (2013). He contributed visual development to Bolt (2008) and Tangled (2010), and served as art director of environments on Frozen II (2019). He was also production designer on Wish (2023). Womersley shared an Annie Award for production design in an animated feature for Frozen.
