Biography
Jessica Rose Weiss is a composer for film and television. She has co-composed scores with Mychael Danna, including Cinderella (2021) and No Hard Feelings (2023). Her solo credits include The Independent (2022), Don't Make Me Go (2022), The Kill Room (2023) and Canary Black (2024).
Weiss trained in ballet and theatre in New York City before working at Warner Bros. Studios in London, where she was recruited by Hans Zimmer. She later apprenticed at Remote Control Productions and received mentorship from Mychael Danna. She is an alumna of the Universal/DreamWorks Composers Initiative and a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers. Her music has been performed at venues including the Globe Theatre in London and the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago.
