Biography
Jon Jashni is an American producer and media executive. He was President and Chief Creative Officer of Legendary Entertainment from 2006 to 2016, during which he oversaw development and production of films including Pacific Rim (2013) and Godzilla (2014). He has continued as a producer on subsequent entries in the MonsterVerse franchise, such as Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024).
Jashni holds a BS from the University of Southern California and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Earlier in his career he was President of Hyde Park Entertainment and held production roles at companies including 20th Century Fox. He now operates through his investment fund Raintree Ventures.
