Biography
Kate Hardie is an English actress. She is the daughter of comedian and presenter Bill Oddie and singer Jean Hart; her stage name combines elements of both parents' surnames.
With no formal training, she began acting as a teenager and appeared in films including Revolution (1985), Mona Lisa (1986), Cry Freedom (1987), The Krays (1990) as Frances, Jack & Sarah (1995), Croupier (1998) and I Am Dina (2002). Television credits include a role in Casualty and National Treasure (2016). She has also worked as a writer and director, graduating from the National Film and Television School in screenwriting in 2006.
Hardie was married to photographer Rankin from 1995 to 1998; they have one child.
