Biography
Leslie Dixon is an American screenwriter and film producer. She wrote the screenplay for Outrageous Fortune (1987) and co-wrote Overboard (1987). Her subsequent credits include the screenplay for Mrs. Doubtfire (1993, with Randi Mayem Singer), Look Who's Talking Now (1993), Pay It Forward (2000), Freaky Friday (2003), Just Like Heaven (2005), Hairspray (2007) and Limitless (2011, which she also produced).
Dixon is the granddaughter of photographer Dorothea Lange and painter Maynard Dixon. She is married to screenwriter and director Tom Ropelewski.
