Biography
Lisa Keene is a production designer and visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios. She trained at the University of Southern California and the Art Center College of Design before joining the studio as a background artist on The Black Cauldron (1985).
Over four decades she has contributed to numerous Disney features in roles including background artist, character designer, visual development artist and art director. Her credits include The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), The Lion King (1994), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules (1997), Tangled (2010), The Princess and the Frog (2009) and Frozen (2013). She served as co-production designer on Frozen II (2019) and production designer on Wish (2023).
