Biography
Matthew Munn is an American production designer and art director. Born on 9 August 1975 in Alaska, he holds a master's degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
He began his career as an art director on independent features including The Wrestler (2008) and Adventureland (2009). As production designer he has worked on Compliance (2012), Z for Zachariah (2015) and The Hunt (2020), and on television series such as Girls (2013–2017), The Sinner (2017–2020), Dr. Death (2021) and Before (2024). He frequently collaborates with director Craig Zobel.
His recent credits include production design on the series Scarpetta (2026) and Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (2026).
