Biography
Michael Latham is a cinematographer whose feature credits include The Assistant (2019) and The Royal Hotel (2023), both directed by Kitty Green. He has also worked on documentaries such as Ukraine Is Not a Brothel (2013), Casting JonBenet (2017), Island of the Hungry Ghosts (2018) and Pelé (2021).
Latham won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography for The Assistant. He has received AACTA Award nominations for cinematography on several projects and won an AACTA Award as a producer for Ukraine Is Not a Brothel. He received a Cinema Eye Honors Award for Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story (2021).
