Biography
Michiel Dhont is a Belgian film producer. He graduated from the KASK School of Arts in Ghent in 2017 and began working in production as an assistant on films including Girl (2018), directed by his brother Lukas Dhont.
He made his debut as a producer on Close (2022), Lukas Dhont’s second feature, which received the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. With his brother he co-founded the production company The Reunion in 2021. He is also producer on Lukas Dhont’s Coward (2026).
Dhont has directed and written short films including Holiday (2018).
