Biography
Steve Summersgill is a British production designer and art director. He studied Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2001, and entered the film industry after a trip to Prague led to a junior set designer role on a US production.
He has worked extensively in art direction on major productions, including as supervising art director on Game of Thrones (2011) and art director on The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), Cloud Atlas (2012) and Aladdin (2019). As production designer, his credits include Industry (2020), Emily (2022), Fair Play (2023) and Bait (2026).
