Biography
Aaron Matthews is a documentary filmmaker who directs, produces and edits. His credits include directing A Panther in Africa (2004) and The Paper (2007), and producing and editing the Oscar-winning short Colette (2020).
He edited Making Marie Antoinette (2026) with Sofia Coppola. Matthews has founded Look Alive Films and his work has appeared on PBS, HBO and other outlets.
