Biography
Angus Strathie is an Australian costume designer. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1988 and subsequently worked with the Canberra Theatre Company and the Australian Opera.
One of his earliest film credits was as costume designer on Strictly Ballroom (1992), directed by Baz Luhrmann. He has collaborated frequently with Luhrmann and Catherine Martin, including on Moulin Rouge! (2001), for which he shared an Academy Award for Best Costume Design. Other credits include Catwoman (2004), The Age of Adaline (2015), Deadpool (2016) and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018).
