Biography
Chris Renteria is a producer and cinematographer working primarily in documentary film. He has contributed to several projects focused on social and political issues in the United States.
His producer credits include Whose Streets? (2017), on which he also worked in the camera department, Gumbo Coalition (2022) and Ratified (2024). He served as cinematographer on St. Louis Superman (2019) and as director of photography on American Doctor (2026). He is executive producer on The Testament of Ann Lee (2025).
Renteria is a Sundance Institute Producer Lab, Documentary Film Fund and Catalyst Fellow, and a board member of the Documentary Producers Alliance. He is a member of IATSE ICG Local 600 and the Society of Camera Operators.
