Biography
Claudie Ossard is a French film producer. Born Marie-Claude Velghe on 16 December 1943 in Paris, she began working in advertising before moving into film production in the early 1980s.
She produced Delicatessen (1991), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro, and went on to produce several further films with Jeunet, including The City of Lost Children (1995) and Amélie (2001). Other credits include Betty Blue (1986, as executive producer), Arizona Dream (1993), Paris, je t'aime (2006), Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009) and In the House (2012). She has operated production companies including Claudie Ossard Productions and Eurowide Film Production.
