Biography
Cynthia Ann Summers is a Canadian costume designer. She was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and trained at the Helen LeFeaux School of Fashion. She is based in Los Angeles and Vancouver.
Summers has designed costumes for numerous television series and films. Her credits include The Last of Us (2023), Lanterns (2026), A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017–2019), Bones, Altered Carbon (2018), Snowpiercer (2020) and Resident Alien (2021). She also worked on films such as Apollo 18 (2011) and War (2007).
She won a Daytime Emmy Award for The Baby-Sitters Club and received Primetime Emmy nominations for The Last of Us and A Series of Unfortunate Events. She has also won multiple CAFTCAD awards.
