Biography
Edward T. McAvoy was an American production designer and art director. He began his career in the art department on films including The Rocketeer (1991), Outbreak (1995) and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992), later serving as art director on The Rock (1996) and Con Air (1997).
McAvoy worked as production designer on Wild Things (1998), Office Space (1999), Ghost World (2001), Monster (2003) and The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (2005). He also contributed to television projects such as the series Push, Nevada (2002) and The D.A. (2004). He was born on 23 July 1949 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died on 4 May 2005 in Temple City, California.
