Biography
Elsa Zamparelli is a costume designer and set decorator. Born Marie Johanna Elizabeth Vande Bovenkamp on 8 December 1944, she began her career in the art department and as a set decorator on television series including Santa Barbara and The Bold and the Beautiful.
She is best known for her costume design on the films Dances with Wolves (1990) and The Last of the Mohicans (1992). For the former she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design. Her other film credits include Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), Last of the Dogmen (1995), Nothing to Lose (1997) and The Order (2001). She has also received three Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on The Bold and the Beautiful.
