Biography
Erica Edell Phillips is an American costume designer. Born in New York City, she attended Hunter College of the City University of New York and studied film at the New School for Social Research. She began her career as a producer of a talk show on WOR Radio before moving to Los Angeles, where she worked as an assistant to designer Glenda Ganis.
Her film credits as costume designer include RoboCop (1987), for which she received a Saturn Award nomination, and Total Recall (1990), for which she won a Saturn Award. Other notable films include Air Force One (1997), The Perfect Storm (2000) and Poseidon (2006). She has also worked extensively in television, with credits on series such as Charlie's Angels and The Agency.
