Biography
Ibrahim Al-Otla is a Palestinian cinematographer and director. He served as one of the cinematographers on the 2026 documentary American Doctor, alongside Chris Renteria. His other credits include cinematography on Yalla Parkour (2024) and Gaza's Twins, Come Back to Me (2025), as well as directing an episode of the television series Dateline (2024).
Al-Otla worked as a director and cinematographer for Palestine Television from 2000 to 2008 and for Media Town from 2008 to 2011. Since October 2023 he has worked as a freelancer with Alef Multimedia, contributing to Al Jazeera English. In 2006 he was injured while filming in Gaza City. He won the News Features Award at the Rory Peck Trust for his work on Witness – Rescue Mission Gaza.
