Biography
Jesse Beaton is a film producer whose credits include One False Move (1992), Devil in a Blue Dress (1995), One True Thing (1998), High Crimes (2002), Out of Time (2003) and Bless Me, Ultima (2012). She has also produced the HBO miniseries Laurel Avenue (1993).
She began her career in film marketing and distribution, working at Island Alive on titles including Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985) and She's Gotta Have It (1986). Beaton became an independent producer in 1988 and has frequently collaborated with director Carl Franklin, to whom she has been married since 2000. They are partners in Monarch Productions.
