Biography
Joe Walker is a British film editor. He studied music at the University of York, graduating in 1984, and trained in editing at the BBC's film department in Ealing Studios.
Walker has collaborated extensively with directors Steve McQueen and Denis Villeneuve. His credits include Hunger (2008), Shame (2011), 12 Years a Slave (2013), Sicario (2015), Arrival (2016), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), Widows (2018), Dune (2021), The Creator (2023) and Dune: Part Two (2024). He won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for Dune.
