Biography
John Paino is an American production designer for film and television. His credits include the HBO series The Last of Us (2023), for which he received an Emmy nomination, as well as Big Little Lies (2017–2019), Sharp Objects (2018) and The Morning Show (2019).
Paino has designed several feature films, among them Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Wild (2014), Kill the Messenger (2014) and Demolition (2016). He is also credited as production designer on the forthcoming series Sirens (2025) and Lanterns (2026).
He has received four Primetime Emmy nominations in total for his production design work.
