Biography
John Paul Kelly is an Irish production designer. Born in Dublin, he studied architecture at Kingston University and design for film at the Royal College of Art before entering the film industry.
He has worked as production designer on films including The Guard (2011), The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), About Time (2013), The Theory of Everything (2014), Stan & Ollie (2018), Operation Mincemeat (2022) and A Haunting in Venice (2023). Kelly won an IFTA Award for The Theory of Everything and a Primetime Emmy for art direction on the television film The Lost Prince.
