Biography
Mitchell LaFortune is an American screenwriter. A former Defence Intelligence Agency officer who served multiple deployments in Afghanistan, he drew on those experiences for his first credited feature, Kandahar (2023).
He wrote the screenplay for the survival thriller Last Breath (2025), on which he also served as executive producer, and Greenland 2: Migration (2026). LaFortune has additional credits as associate producer and actor on Kandahar, and as a script reviser on earlier projects including Greenland (2020).
