Biography
Raymond Cruz is an American actor. He was born on 10 September 1964 in East Los Angeles, California, and attended East Los Angeles College.
Cruz first appeared on screen in 1987 and has since taken supporting roles in films including Dead Again (1991), Clear and Present Danger (1994), The Rock (1996), Alien Resurrection (1997) and Training Day (2001). On television he is known for playing Detective Julio Sanchez in The Closer (2005–2012) and its spin-off Major Crimes (2012–2018), and for his recurring role as Tuco Salamanca in Breaking Bad (2008–2009) and Better Call Saul (2015–2016). He has also appeared in The X-Files, 24 and Grey's Anatomy.
