Biography
Richard Nord is an American film editor. He began his career in the early 1980s with assistant and associate editing roles on films including Wolfen (1981), Zelig (1983), The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and Working Girl (1988). He trained at Queens College and New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
Nord received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, shared with five other editors, for The Fugitive (1993). His other editing credits include Passenger 57 (1992), Species II (1998), The Watcher (2000), 11:14 (2003) and The Last Full Measure (2019). He has also worked as an additional editor on several productions.
