Biography
Sharlene George is a New Zealand producer and co-CEO of The Sweetshop Entertainment. She produced the 2025 gothic horror film Mārama, directed by Taratoa Stappard.
George is a founding partner of the production company and has produced projects including the 2022 television special Taumanu, the film Moja & Vesna (2022) and the series Bird's Eye View (2022). She has also served as executive producer on titles such as Left Write Hook (2024) and The Defenders (2023).
