Biography
Valérie Pozzo di Borgo is a French costume designer. She was born in Paris in 1956.
She began working in film in the mid-1980s and received regular credits from 1989. Her designs for the black comedy Delicatessen (1991), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro, earned her a César Award nomination for Best Costumes in 1992. She shared the 1991 European Film Award for Best Production Design with art director Miljen Kljakovic for the same film.
Pozzo di Borgo collaborated with directors including Arnaud Desplechin, Pierre Salvadori and Pierre Jolivet on films such as La Sentinelle (1992), Les Apprentis (1995) and Fred (1997). She is the sister of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo.
