Biography
Victoria Furuya is a production designer and interdisciplinary artist. She is a Japanese-Italian-Canadian BFA graduate of Capilano University and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Furuya works at the intersection of production design and floristry, informed by Sogetsu Ikebana. Her film credits include production design on the 2023 short Bloom and on Sophy Romvari’s debut feature Blue Heron (2025), a Telefilm Canada-funded drama set in the 1990s.
