Biography
Arthur Coburn is an American film editor. Born in New Jersey on 6 July 1955, he began his career in the mid-1970s as an assistant editor on films including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and Apocalypse Now (1979). After working in Seattle on commercials, documentaries and educational films, he moved to Hollywood and became a credited editor on feature films.
His editing credits include Beverly Hills Cop (1984), The Mask (1994), A Simple Plan (1998), Spider-Man (2002), Monster (2003), The Cooler (2003), Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) and Running Scared (2006). His last feature credit was Crossing Over (2009). He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
