Biography
Stephen Schaffer is an American film editor. He has worked extensively with Pixar Animation Studios.
His editing credits include The Incredibles (2004), WALL·E (2008), Cars 2 (2011), The Good Dinosaur (2015), Incredibles 2 (2018) and Elemental (2023). He also contributed additional editing to Monsters University (2013) and served as assistant editor on The Iron Giant (1999). Earlier credits include Osmosis Jones (2001).
In 2009, Schaffer won an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award for Best Edited Feature Film – Comedy or Musical for WALL·E, the first time the award was given to the editor of an animated film. He received further nominations for The Incredibles and The Good Dinosaur.
