Biography
Gloria Gresham is an American costume designer. She studied theatre at Indiana University and began working in film in the late 1970s, with credits as costume coordinator on The Wiz (1978) and assistant on The Brink's Job (1978). Her first feature as costume designer was Urban Cowboy (1980).
She is credited with costume design on Misery (1990) and A Few Good Men (1992), and worked on numerous other films including When Harry Met Sally... (1989), Ghostbusters II (1989), Avalon (1990), Last Action Hero (1993) and Sleepers (1996). Her career as a costume designer spanned until 2006.
Gresham received an Academy Award nomination for best costume design for Avalon (1990). She was married to producer C. O. Erickson from 1987 until his death in 2017.
